Oh, Dean has to say it next ep. Really, I can't see Sam letting him go away with it this time. Of course, Dean could still lie to him, but I think they have brought him to a point where he'll spill it. Beside, Kripke said in some interview we would know by midseason :D

I'm looking forward to some ass-kicking, brooding/angry Sam for next ep, or something similar.
