Does art (art, AH! *dies laughing) have headers? Damn I never remember.

First try at graphic tablet after ..uhmmm...8 years or so (crappy tablet, starts saving for new Wacom, desperately, since my old Wacom still works, but no drivers for XP, sigh).
So many things wrong with this, don't let me start. Beside, it's 30 mins work (including the OMGWTF brushes! moments) and my tool has always been the brush (the real one) more than the pencil.
Not to mention, a digital one.

Can we teach an old dog new tricks? *G*

Anyway, a sketch of Sam&Dean, in "Bow hunting is an important skill".

Awwwwwww! Look at them!! That is so cute. It's really good! I love wee!Sammy's hair and I love the way they're standing, holding on to each other and wee!Dean looking so cocky and brave. It's adorable, really. It made me smile so big. I'd love to see more sketches like this. *mwah*

I can't never look at what I draw until a lots of time has passed, I keep seeing only all the defects (I totally messed up Sammy's shoes, lol).

But, I'm happy you think it's cute, it's good to see it through someone else's eyes. I like Sammy's hair, too, I liked it right away and didn't touch it (I tend to touch and retouch and retouch...which can be interesting in other situations, but with drawings? not so much ;).

Drawing relaxes me as much as writing, and I haven't for a too long time. So, yes, I'll try my hand at more. I have a much more personal style in painting, drawing is very much more part of my illustrator inclined personality, so you tend to be able to do different styles according to what is needed, hence...your own 'hand' (style) is much less evident.

(I have uploaded a minuscule example of my illos in my LJ gallery, I think, if you wanna have a look, but most of my stuff is still in Italy, and I used to work on 70x50 cm canvas, so, uhm it's expensive to have it scannerised ;)
