Books and Film: Temeraire, Night Watch and Day Watch

Just a quick update to say that I devoured "Temeraire" (by Naomi Novik) and I LOVE it, I can't wait to put my hands on the others.

I also finished reading the "Day Watch" by Lukyanenko and also watched the Night Watch film. Which I need to watch again before I can properly comment on it, but it was interesting, and very much Russian :D

In other news, my mum's latest check has come out with very bad results, so she is due for yet more chemo.

RL is somewhat weird at the moment, as well. On one hand, an unexpected find, on the other...well. Time will tell, I guess.
