November is a Writing Month

A bit in advance, but as a note:

During November, I will be partecipating in NaNoWriMo and mini_nanowrimo.
"Both?" you ask, "Isn't that a tad pretentious?" And well, I say, "yes it is." But I really want to write like crazy during November, and having different tasks and venues and prompts in one place and the other, my own ideas added to the mix...it will be challenging.

Which means, that I'll be still posting my random blabbery stuff about SPN and possibly Burn Notice (and The Unit, or Californication, or Dexter..and so on), and there will be the recurring mention of John Winchester, I suppose *G* and whatever else it is that I'm supposed to post about...but I'll probably be much lacking in comments. Or, totally absent in that department. If it means I'm writing, well, I'll be happy about it and I hope you'll be happy too :D

That said, I'm planning on posting both the NaNoWriMo and mini_nanowrimo's daily writings here, as they are (no editing, random Italian words here and there when the English neurons of my brain aren't collaborating, and so on), but I do want to post them privately (because I hope to be able to clean up them at the end of the month and present/share them properly and in the appropriate communities/spaces - which is the very best case scenario, whereas the worst case scenario is that I want to hide it all as much as possible *G*)...so, if any of you wants in on the filter, just leave me a comment and I'll set it up.
Feel free to just read and/or point and/or laugh and/or cheer and/or offer feedback, I'll be fine with anything and everything including perfect silence/empty comment spaces - obviously, commenting will make me happier, but it's not requested. I want to post it daily so to give myself a feeling of accomplishment, which I badly need.


ETA: I just discovered that there is a NaNoWriMo LJ community too: nanowrimo, for those interested. I don't intend to partecipate much in the NaNoWriMo official site if not for doing the uploading of words stuff, because forums and chats are ideal for procrastinating! So I won't be joining this community, for the same reason (I am good enough at procrastination without external help, yes ;), but maybe some of you are interested.

Oh dear. Vic is definitely my kind of pup, but..nope. No rp writing for me yet, I just can't bear the pressure (not that you would be pressuring me - you don't, you're a great rp-writer, it's always been great fun playing/co-writing with you - but it's a trait of rp writing, the pressure, it's sort of in-built, at least for me)...sowwy. And after I've seen the pic you posted, well, those two DO look good together ;)
(I'd also need to watch all the Shields eps till now, in order to have my take on Vic, and it's too big of a commitment).

Can't blame a girl for trying. :P I'd pick him up myself, but the grrr-argh!male is not exactly my forte, and I want to pick up Olivia, and I don't want to play both Olivia AND Vic.

But perhaps a Vic will pop up someday, somewhere, and he'll be played by someone who understands Vic is as straight as a straight guy can be.

Playing both certainly isn't good at all, where's the fun in that...but there are het-players out there, I know there are! I do understand the frustration, though, most games seems to be slash-obsessed :(

I know that many/most rp games are on GJ, for whatever reason (maybe the number of icons with free accounts)...I wonder if there's a central sort of place for asking about things like this...there should be one, to know what games/comms are out there, if slash oriented or not, and so on...

Yeah, well, I'll have to wait for the premiere to do anything with my pup because she technically isn't "in" the show yet, and she might very well not be accepted at all by the general fanbase, as she's a female entering their slashy fantasy of Vic/Shane/Ronnie (RIP Lem :'/) and stealing Vic from it. She may well receive the same treatment as Marita did.

Or not, Shield fans seem to be a pretty bright, straight (male :D) bunch. Hmmmm.

The rabbit scares you?! I never expected that response! I think he's adorable. He's a mediaeval stone carving in St Mary's Church in Beverley (near Hull), an ancestral church of mine (my ancestors were sextons there for over 250 years, from father to son). The rabbit, with his waistcoat, is believed to have inspired Lewis Carroll's white rabbit since Carroll lived in the area for a time and was familiar with St Mary's.
