TV: Red Riding

I have just finished watching Red Riding (Brit TV).

Can someone tell me what they see in it? Because I thought it was clunky, slow, scattered, inconclusive, incoherent and a number of other 'bad' things. Maybe a few nice-photography scenes here and there, but that's it.

Is there something I am missing?

ION, I am bored/frustrated/useless/stuck. Watching that didn't cheer me up at all, LOL

Nothing, I suspect you're missing nothing. But then I gave up about 15 minutes into the first episode... And they cancel Apparitions? What is going on with tv these days?!

Phew, at least it's not just me, then. I stuck with it out of stubborness, I suppose (read: Sean Bean and Paddy Considine;) but really, it makes me want to check out the book, just to be sure. Just to know if the writing is as crappy as the filming, lol
