TV: Red Riding

phantomasI have just finished watching Red Riding (Brit TV).
Can someone tell me what they see in it? Because I thought it was clunky, slow, scattered, inconclusive, incoherent and a number of other 'bad' things. Maybe a few nice-photography scenes here and there, but that's it.
Is there something I am missing?
ION, I am bored/frustrated/useless/stuck. Watching that didn't cheer me up at all, LOL

Maybe you have something in the being-a-fan thing - I tend to talk about what's happened in an episode of NCIS, say, and his response is usually, "It's just a telly programme - why does it matter to you?"
