still liking it, still watching it, still giving me that dose of TV horror I like (which I use to get from SPN, sigh)
Okay, so we get the uncle is a shady character, lol. At least, somewhat nasty and careless. Will Young is still geekily adorable :)
There's a minor lack of typical Brit casting, ie. real-looking people (is everyone youngish/trendy/smart/very slim/etc?), and I like British casting/real-looking people, but hey, can't have everything.
I do like the setting, the Bedlam Heights building: it's simple and classic, but ripe for storylines, between an infinite number of past patients and an unprecise number of tenants.
The culprit of the week was a tad annoying, but in all, I enjoyed it, it seems there a few strands being woven togheter, let's see where it goes :)
SPN latest ep (6.14 I think?) Haven't read anyone's comments yet!
Ops, I completely forgot we had Sammy Flambè last time!
EEEEEK! Oh but the moving eyes of the Muscles/tendons dummy were scary :D
Loved seeing the old EMF again. I like that the boys had an initial chat...
I guess, what I'm missing, really, is the lack of references to the past. Yes, okay, Dean sort of did, and I like his way of coping (violence and alcoholism, and it was sarcastic, but I understand it: what they've been through is not something one can actually deal with. You can go on, yes, but facing it...won't solve anything. How do you face Hell?)
But I'd like to hear them referencing these experiences explicitly.
Also, for once, I finally liked Lisa: she was a full rounded character for me this time, and not just a plot server. I like how they picked up on the Lisa/Ben issue and explored it some more.
Absolutely loved the kidney's idea! After all, yep, what do you do with transplants? Can't burn them. Funny idea, and funny conversation about Doctor Robert(?) and Hoodoo :)
I'm intrigued by the 'after': what did they do, exactly? Did they just leave the girl there and call the police anonymously?
ANyway, it was a good case, and a good episode with lots of food for thoughts, nice boys (talking! to each other! a little!), Family Issues....yes, a good ep :D
I haven't watched Outcasts past ep. 2, lack of time :(
And I missed Glee. Oh well.
In other news, thank you so much all of you for your support, I was really panicking the other day: your words did help a lot, THANK YOU. Will settle down, hopefully :) Fact is, TartanMan is sort of a stray-cat, with all the baggage of strays. But he's also lovely (to me anyway ;)
But thank you thank you thank you, ljers: you are wonderful :)
Now, I'm off to assemble a temporary thing for clothes storage AND research Victorian letter writing. Tere will be Batman Lego playing later :)
