Project Krycek: Sleepless, S2 ep 04
Feb. 28th, 2006 01:03 amThis is my first post for Project Krycek.
[grabbing and iconing all of the Krycek eps in the X Files, following the illustrious example of
foxestacado's All Seasons X Files Iconage]
Things I have learned:
1) grab judiciously
2) decide on color scheme before-hand
3) make up your mind on variations
4) grab judiciously
I arranged the icons in chronological order as they appear in the episode; when there are more versions of the same icon, I add a letter: 1a, 1b, and so on.
- Feel free to take
- Credit is nice
- If you'd like to add your own text to the textless icons, go ahead, I'd love to see what you make with them :)
- No hotlinking, of course.
Comments, suggestions, questions, criticism, all is welcome :)
It's quite clear, I think, that I have worked on this batch in three phases: you only need to look at the color scheme :)
69 icons plus 18 (textless and/or bases used)

episode title icon
"As he waited for Agent Mulder to notice him, Krycek observed him. Carefully. Not that he hadn't seen surveillance photos of Mulder before..but the man was there, now. Flesh and blood, and not just a grainy black and white film. The man in all his brilliance. And arrogance, indifference, and...Krycek licked his lips. Some jobs do have perks."

I didn't manage a better quality, but the tongue action was too precious to let it go.

Date: 2006-02-28 03:28 am (UTC)Anyway, here it goes again!
Gotta keep this short. I'm running WAY behind on some major things, like studying and essays. Oy, so tired, but oh so good...
Teehee. Okie LOVE the coloring/comic book style of 2, 5, 6, 7 (and their equivalent textless versions), where also the text is extremely unique and well done, well-designed, and frankly, nothing much else like it exists around these parts! I love the funky comic style of 16-16c, and the b&w + color design in 27, 31b, 35, 36b, 37, awesome text design in 38, 39, 44, 46. Also, LOVE the equivalent textless versions as stated above, as well as T6, and T7.
Great job! You've improved muchly, and I shiver in anticipation to see your next batch! :D

Date: 2006-02-28 08:46 am (UTC)wheeee! *preens* *blushes*
It's SO time consuming! I have lots of fun when I can take my time with the icons...and I think the illustrator in me does come out more than I thought...I have tons of brushes and decor thingy saved (made by others, not me) and didn't use a single one at the end.
thank you for taking the time to comment - I know how essays go :)
kicks LJ for eating your previous comment
