Nov. 12th, 2006 02:58 amA long time coming, as always not what I was working towards, got another one in the working, but as it is...I hope it has the stark flavour I was going for, the bark of a tree, a family tree, and the stalking shadowyness of a cat ...
(I think I made up 'shadowyness' *g*)

RL: Nothing like 7 hours of hospital each day and a very anxious father to invoke fooling around some more with pics and such. I deeply apologise to all of you that are waiting for words from me - apparently that part of my brain refuses to be engaged. I'll try to kick it in gear tomorrow. I tried another composition, and uhm, what came out at the end is NOTHING like what it started as...as you do.
Anyway, I used:
SPN Pics by Super Emedian
brushes:
Stardust by Iantinae
Bombay 101 set 42 by ? (lost the author's reference!)
ETA: and icon. forgot to post it yesterday, silly me.
ETA2: Mary's eyes are black - changed them accordingly in all the text versions :)
Small version to give you an idea (and damn, why does it always look so much better when small?!? *headdesk*)

Colors and shapes, words won't come by.
This cover/image/wallpaper, however you want to call it, it's for the story In the Company of Demons, bystele3 - which is a dark DARK DARK story, and worth each moment you spend reading it. Because sex and violence, just like life and death, go together.
Very tiny version, to give you a tiny idea of what's behind the cut.
I could play with this sort of final version some more - there are several effect you could go for, but I limited myself, just tried variations on the text.

SPN MANIP: Dean & Kim (Claudia Black)
Aug. 17th, 2006 04:40 pmI'm frustrated by having to work with a pc that doesn't have Photoshop, the fonts, brushes and capabilities of my own pc/software, but making graphics is the only thing that silences all my worries and frustration.
Sincerest apologies to those that are waiting for tags/comments/emails from me, but colors and shapes invoke silence and mood and instinct, whereas words and sentence structure require more from me that I can afford right now.
I made an icon and a couple of manipolations for The Amazing Incredible Adventures of Freak Boy and Dyke Girl bystele3 - which is a WiP, but well worth the read and the wait, imo.
This is my way of showing my appreciation and sending more readersstele3' way.
As always, comments, likes and dislikes are welcome.

I really liked the story, the characterisation, the setting, so one day I'll write a proper rec, but in the meantime, maybe the visual hints will make you curious and willing to read it.
And yes, Dean's hair are BLUE. Like, dyed blue *G*
