TWU WUV...because fandom is what it is and there is place for everyone. Yes. Everyone. Even GRUBOID LURVE!
There's a songvid, too, but not on the site (yet), as far as I can see. I wonder if someone asked for it for Yuletide, it sure is an obscure fandom :)

As last year, I am pinch hitting for Yuletide. Not committing to anything, because my track record is horrible, but pinch-hitting usually works out well, and last year was the best fun in a long time, both for pinch hitting and the free-for-all sockfillers last minute rush :D

I have, however, in an obvious moment of desperate clinging to my sanity and identity, committed to [livejournal.com profile] mini_nanowrimo..erm. I haven't yet written a word for it. I'll see what I can do. Something's gotta give and it won't be me, dammit.

I also caught up with SPN. OHMY. SO much to say! SO little time, and I know you all SPN f-listers have probably been discussing it all already :(

Stuff I like about SPN with mentions of most recent ep's events )

I'm finally sitting down to watch the latest SPN.

Is it me being blind, or the CW blog mentions an interview with Sera Gamble (midly spoilerish) saying that she reveals "what she really thinks about John Winchester", and then there is no mention of John Winchester whatsoever?
I skimmed it quickly because I didn't want to stumble onto the spoilers, but my eyes would have caught the name John Winchester, I hope.

Anyway, the word count for [livejournal.com profile] mini_nanowrimo is going well: apart from one single day, I am managing above the amount I pledged for daily. Go me! Mostly Nexus stuff, but there's some John Winchester in there too. The Nexus writings have been posted already at [livejournal.com profile] nexus_verse (short, stand alone pieces and The Observer's bio), the SPN piece is shaping up to be a longer one :D

I haven't yet started on Big Nano. *looks sheepish* Been thinking about it, though! *hides*

No drabbles today , but I know I still owe a few, and a couple at least are Pros.
Will try and get to those tomorrow :)

But, word count for today is good: 1200 words, and a finished ficlet!
More Nexus stuff, will post it after beta-editing.

I feel so good about this daily writing.
Not that I don't write often enough anyway, but giving it a certain type of priority makes a HUGE difference, and I love it. Also, it's good practice for starting to write my thesis once again, when I decide to. Daily writing is paramount for that. *nods*

*is happy*

ETA: ficlet finished with today's words posted here: Nexus Hobbes and Pinocchio's First Time. Kind of.

[livejournal.com profile] disanddat wrote a most hurty scorching hot scene between Nexus!Dean Winchester and Nexus!Max Evans, HERE.

I know the Nexus 'verse is an acquired taste, characters from SPN, Roswell, XFiles, OaT and Harsh Realm all thrown together in a claustrophobic sci-fi environment..and really, the original idea was more along the lines of Crossover!SMUT, TENTACLES!SMUT! ...but then plot intruded *G*

Still, it's worth reading, imnsho. :P

Since most of what is posted is not written in chronological order, the Nexus TIMELINE is HERE, if you want to give it a try. Mostly written by [livejournal.com profile] disanddat, with contributions from [livejournal.com profile] lorelei633, [livejournal.com profile] candygramme and [livejournal.com profile] art_of_mayhem, and myself.

My 900 words for [livejournal.com profile] mini_nanowrimo, Day 4, a coda to [livejournal.com profile] disanddat's story:
The Observer 9: Vigilance

[livejournal.com profile] franzi1981 asked for: Oz! And/or Dean Winters, even if he isn't listed *G*
... and she gets a triple drabble!
Based on the TMpups, Dean Winters and Jon RM :)

[livejournal.com profile] jdsgirlbev asked for:
crossover fic SPN/D&B, John and the Sheriff and mis-identification of same (until one of them opens their mouth at any rate) by various and sundry persons...and zombies. (sex is optional...but imagine the possibilities o.0 )

This is what came out...which I suppose it's the closest to crack fic I have ever got!

title: What happens in Lovelock...
author: [livejournal.com profile] phantomas
crossover: SPN/Dead & Breakfast
words: 1100
characters: John Winchester, The Sheriff
warnings: none
notes: thanks to [livejournal.com profile] disanddat for invaluable help, and one particular line. Also, The Sheriff has been (un)officially named Buford Coneybear, Ford to his friends. Because [livejournal.com profile] disanddat says so, and it makes me giggle. Ficlet counting towards [livejournal.com profile] mini_nanowrimo. ETA: and change of title at the very last moment!

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] disanddat for her beta, all mistakes are mine.

[livejournal.com profile] lorelei633 asked for: Frank Callahan from NYPD Blue
Two drabbles here )

[livejournal.com profile] candygramme asked for: Supernatural, John/Sam
Double drabble here )

[livejournal.com profile] mytimehaspassed asked for: OZ crossed with SPN (Keller/Dean, and/or John)
and gets 700 words of SPN/OZ )

[livejournal.com profile] disanddat asked for Dead and Breakfast's The Sheriff: JDM :D.
This is the drabble that came out…AU, in that The Sheriff doesn't die at the end of the film, and also, clearly, I'm still assessing the character.I promise to do better next time, that is, tomorrow.
