In other news, yes, I had coffee again, there will be some personal pics of my Lost Spent Youth soon and I'm busy with settling back in Own Life again and a couple of projects and wanting to get back into a writing routine (haven't forgotten about the Pros Time Stamp stories in care you were wondering!) and Uni stuff.

Because [livejournal.com profile] halcyon_shift said that I should spread a plague, it would be more socially acceptable pass these around, so you shall all partake of the Awesomeness of Holly Dolly...

Two more behind the cut )

Sollima is a reknown cellist...this music vid beautifully enhances the music, the artistry and the lyrical suggestions of it - there's a brief recount of how the vid was made in the Youtube entry, if you're interested.

I've listened and watched it several times already...and even if you're not that keen on classic music as a genre, the rhythm and pacing of it is breathtaking. imo. Enjoy!

Total random post of the day...

ITEM ONE - I may be having hot pervy thoughts for the first dancing (blue, horned, tailed, not-human, digital character) guy in this vid
(taken from [livejournal.com profile] digital_opium)...he has a TAIL! and he's BLUE!

Perhaps I've been watching too much Farscape recently...

ITEM TWO - The Spanish Gardner...ahhhh, the classics! Brit film made in 1956, with Dirk Bogarde. It's been widely analyzed in terms of masculinity and homoerotic subtext, a rite of passage for a stuffed Brit man and his son faced with the exploding and sensual masculinity of the Spanish gardner ... only Bogarde certainly wasn't Spanish *G*
Still, the slash tension between the Brit diplomat and the gardner is sizzling, and with the boy being the point of contention of their affection, it all makes for a very pervy enjoyable viewing.

ITEM THREE - as much as it obviously is a way to expand their sales and their target, still...DOVE campaign for real beauty at least brings ads for older women with actual, real older women on our telly, and the same for women that do not wear size zero...and this film says more than a thousands words...worth considering and appreciating, imo.

ITEM FOUR - I may have applied for [livejournal.com profile] spn_harlequin..okay, I have applied, I am waiting to see if I'm accepted or not (nothing personal if I'm not, there are only so many prompts - 72 - so the one I asked for might be taken already...)...and I haven't even asked if I could write John Winchester in it! SHAME ON ME! ETA: yesss, I can. Any genre, SPN or SPN RPS. *waits for approval*

Anyway, this forces me to formalize the fiction I'm working on at the moment, so that I have to keep at it said fiction bunnies listed under the cut tag not exactly in priority order apart from the first two )

I have probably forgotten something, but most of all...
Damn.
I need to stop reading fiction if I want to write any of that! There just isn't enough time! It's not fair!

Worth watching, and thinking about it. I believe in the principle of personal responsability and I believe in that fact that certain things ought be said, and others shouldn't, and others still ought be said in the proper way, which sometimes is very hard to find...

Craig Ferguson (a talk-show host, I didn't know him before I saw this) about what he makes fun of and what he's comfortable making fun of...

Because some things must be shared...

Beware...it's damn catchy *g*

I've loved him since I can remember. And those first few minutes? Black leather and the 'moves'...*grins happily*

Enjoy :)
